WINGED LINER FOR HOODED EYES | SIMPLE EYELINER

Hey guys, today I’m going to share with you how I do my winged eyeliner, and I have hooded eyes so this may help some of you who have similar eyes to mine. So yeah, I’m going to start off with my base all over my face, and then I’m going to prime my eyelids, and this is MAC’s Paint Pot in Painterly. Now I’m going to do this because I want my eyeliner to stick and not crease all over my greasy-ass eyelids. Going into my face powder, I’m going to use this to set my base. Again, so my liner doesn’t crease. And then I’m going to go in and define my would-be crease. Now, because I have hooded eyes, my crease is very small, so I’m going to go into the hollows of my eye socket, just right where the bone is, and I’m going to blend this into that area. Alright, going into eyeliner, I’m going to take some onto this flat brush, and then scrape off both sides, so that it’s as thin as possible.

And I’m going to map out where I’m going to put my eyeliner. And I’m going to start under my lid, and go upwards towards my socket bone, and I’m going to end my line right where my socket bone is. So I’m going to do that to both sides. Again, just mapping it out, and ending my line right at the socket bone. And then just trying to make everything as even as possible. Alright, so I’m just going to extend this a little bit, because I think I made the other side too long.

So now that they’re even, I’m going to tilt my head back, and I’m going to bring the line in. And this is going to create the wing. I’m going to bring that towards my pupil, like the middle of my eyeball as you can see. And then that is the wing, and I’m going to bring that in towards the inner corner, lining as close to my lashline as possible, or you can make it as thick as you want. When I’m happy with the shape, I’m going to fill that in. And it really helps, well for me, it helps when I tilt my head back. I don’t know why, it just does. Try it out, it might help. So you’re just filling it in. I’m just fixing the wing, and I’m darkening up the lashline.

Alright, that’s one side. Time to do the other side! Done! Alright, so I’m going to go back into my bronzer, and deepen up my would-be crease once again, just to make it look more like my eye is larger. Back into my face powder, I’ll add a little bit more to add some contrast and definition, and then I’m going to curl my eyelashes. Add some mascara. I’m adding two coats of waterproof mascara, again to make sure that nothing transfers onto my eyelids. And that’s winged liner done!
