1. Wash Cloth with Lip Balm Try this great way to rid yourself of flaky, chapped lips. The longer you leave the lip balm on, the better. Leave it on overnight for best results. Here’s what you need: 1 High quality, thick lip balm; 1 Wash cloth (or soft tooth brush). Directions: Liberally apply a solid foundation of lip balm over both lips. Do it at night before bed. This will allow the balm to treat and hydrate your lips for several hours. In the morning you’ll notice that your lips have absorbed the lip balm.
Now, take a clean, damp wash cloth (or new soft tooth brush) and easily massage your lips. This helps to both exfoliate them as well as remove dead skin. In the end, make sure to wipe off any excessive lip balm. 2. Rose Petal Lip Mask Rose petals have several key properties that can improve the health of our lips. They contain anti-inflammatory properties as well as natural oils and sugars, which work to keep the moisture in our lips. Almond Oil and Lemon Juice Here’s another simple recipe involving lemon juice. This time it’s with almond oil—a sweet hydrating agent that is great for your lips.
